Individual Time Trial: The Course will be approximately 8.0 miles with a elevation gain loss of +/-240 feet. It will be harder than that sounds; be prepared to suffer. Standard gears will be fine; there is one “hill” on the course.
The time trial start is on Crestone Avenue. Please park in town and ride to the course start it’s only 1.2 miles and you need a warm up! There is no legal parking available on Crestone Avenue. We reserve the right to tow any parked cars. Also, no individual race support traffic on course. The Course is open to local traffic only, but there will be cars on course. Riders beware and watch for cross traffic, and oncoming cars!
DIRECTIONS TO START: FROM REGISTRATION AT ALPINE PARK, RIDE ONE BLOCK NORTH TO THIRD STREET. TURN LEFT (WEST) RIDE PAST SAFEWAY. MAKE THE FIRST LEFT AFTER THE BIKE PATH AND RIDE UP A SMALL HILL. NEAR THE TOP OF THE HILL TURN RIGHT. THIS IS CRESTONE AVENUE. THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE WILL BE ON YOUR RIGHT. THE TIME TRIAL START IS 1.2 MILES FROM ALPINE PARK ON CRESTONE AVENUE.
